March Pack Meeting - NEW DATE 3/12/19
Our March Pack Meeting has changed from the first Tuesday, to 3/12/19.
The 5th graders will earn their Arrow of Light awards and crossover to Boy Scouts, or complete their Cub Scouting experience. There will be ice cream! The new pack t-shirts earned as fundraising prizes, will be distributed too.
The Scout Law theme for the meeting is: Brave
The Webelos den will lead the flags and setup.
The Bears will help with cleanup.

Seattle Friends of Scouting
The Seattle BSA council's Friends of Scouting campaign is underway. Families are asked to consider investing in the important Friends of Scouting Campaign. Your gift does so much to support at-risk programs in Seattle, provides camp scholarships, helps to maintain our wonderful Scout camps, helps to maintain buildings and equipment, and helps to provide training programs.  Here is a link to donate online. You can give a one-time gift or join the Summit Circle and give a monthly donation. Select “Sammamish Trails” and “Cub Scout Pack 550” so our pack is credited.

Pack Hike - 3/9/19 (Saturday)
Del Chafe and Vickie Sirisivath will lead us on a short hike at Marymoor Park. We will meet in Lot G (Dog Park, Bird Trail) at 10:00 a.m. Please bring money for parking. It is $1.00, and there is a pay station in Lot G.

Scouting for Food - 3/16/19 and 3/23/19 (Saturday)
Scouting for Food is an annual Seattle Council-wide food drive service project. Our pack will join other packs and troops across Kirkland to collect food to benefit Hopelink. Younger scouts (Kindergarten - 2nd grade) can sign up for a shift at the Rose Hill Safeway on Saturday, March 23rd to collect food from shoppers who wish to donate. Older scouts will distribute door hangers on neighbor’s homes on Saturday March 16 and then collect the food on Saturday March 23. Thanks to Jill Granberg for helping to coordinate this event - watch for an email with further details coming soon.
